Nurture and Postpartum Support Virginia are conducting the COVID-19 Survey for Pregnant and Postpartum Parents through March 12, 2021. This electronic survey is designed to provide insight into the COVID-19 Pandemic’s impact on people who are pregnant or within two years of giving birth and their family members. The survey is available in both in Spanish and English, and is completely anonymous.
Data gathered through this survey will be shared with community partners, including local nonprofits, government agencies, and service providers focused on maternal/infant health via a publicly available report in late April – early May, 2021. so that together we can respond more effectively to the needs of pregnant and new parents. They may also be shared via social media messaging in an effort to shine a light on COVID-19’s impact on our pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.
WHO SHOULD TAKE THE SURVEY?
Virginia residents who are pregnant or within two years of giving birth, or their family members.
We want to make sure that the voices of all Virginians are represented in this survey, including members of historically oppressed communities, immigrants, people residing in rural settings, and those experiencing economic hardships.

HOW TO SHARE:
- Option 1) Simply connect to our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages and share one of our posts. We will be reposting images representative of various demographic groups through March 12, 2021. Here are sample Facebook Posts in Spanish and English. Please tag us with #nurtureRVA or @nurtureRVA.
- Option 2) Download one of the images and text or QR Codes below, and share via email or your social media networks.

Nurture and Postpartum Support Virginia, two nonprofits that serve pregnant and postpartum families, are seeking input about the impact of the COVID-19 from pregnant and postpartum parents and/or their family members via this brief survey.
The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. Parents who complete the survey will have the option of entering a drawing for one of twenty $25 gift certificates from Walmart or Target.
Stories and information gathered through this survey will be shared with community partners, including nonprofits, government agencies, and service providers focused on maternal/infant health. They may also be shared via social media messaging to help shine a light on COVID-19’s impact on our pregnant and postpartum families.
