Celebrate National Breastfeeding month with #RVAbreastfeeds’ community partners at the Diamond! We’re bringing expecting and new families and their providers together to raise public awareness of the importance of breastfeeding to our long-term community health.

Attendance and Reach

• Your logo on 10,000 tickets, including 5000 distributed to expecting and new families through our partners
• Reach a game night audience of ~6000 via Virginia’s Premier Sports & Entertainment Venue

This collaborative effort engages multiple stakeholders to reduce childhood obesity through policy, infrastructure, and environmental changes that promote a breastfeeding-friendly community.

Birth & Early Parenting Resource Directory

Nurture is developing an on-line directory of verified pregnancy and early parenting resources that will increase access to resources, reduce organizational siloing, help identify gaps in service, and create a better networked maternal/infant health community.

Ecosystem Cultivation

Nurture convenes educational seminars, facilitated conversations, and community events where Perinatal Health Stakeholders gather for peer learning and the cross-sector relationship building necessary for a healthy, connected, maternal/infant health community.
